Cinamaker Director Multicam Studio version 2.15 for iPad and Mac expands the possibilities of easy and affordable Multi-Camera Live-Streaming, Live-Meetings, Recording & Editing

  • Now you can live stream directly to Linkedin Live
  • Plug microphones and USB audio sources directly into your Mac or iPad
  • Use your Mac’s built-in Apple FaceTime HD camera as one or up to 8 cameras
  • Plus: MacBook performance improvements, Bug fixes, and stability improvements

Let’s dive into the new features:

Eight (8) Camera Support

Cinamaker has expanded to 8 camera slots (previously 4) so that you can add more local and remote cameras to your live streams and recordings.

Why it Matters

Cinamaker now has up to 8 camera slots for including more local and remote cameras, to share your screens, files, applications, or media from those connected screens. This provides you greater capacity for telling your stories with more camera angles, people, and visual elements.

Remote Guests / Remote Cameras

Cinamaker Director Studio (Pro only) gives you the ability to invite anyone or any camera from anywhere in the world to your Cinamaker live stream and recording.

Cinamaker has partnered with Zoom to make a seamless connection between invited guests, cameras, and audio without ever leaving the Cinamaker app.

Using Zoom’s audio/video transport, “Remote Guest” enables Cinamaker Director Studio creators to include up to eight (8)* remote interview guests or remote cameras/audio into your sessions.

Why it Matters

As remote video production becomes increasingly more common, Cinamaker makes it easier than ever to bring remote video and audio into your multi-camera live broadcasts and recordings.

To learn how to include Remote Guests / Remote Cameras, click here.

How it works

To conduct remote interviews from within the Cinamaker Director Studio app (iPad or Mac), simply login to your Zoom account from the Camera Browser, initiate a Zoom meeting, and invite Guests or Cameras from anywhere in the world to your Cinamaker session.

To learn more, click here.

Once your guest(s) receives and accepts your invite, they will be placed in a Zoom Waiting Room. As the director/host, you will then be able to include your guests in your available camera slot(s).

Then conduct your interviews with your guest(s) as if they are additional cameras and audio sources in your Cinamaker live stream and recording.

*Include Up to eight (8) Remote Guests/Remote Cameras on Mac and up to three (3) on iPad running Cinamaker Director Studio (Pro only).

Linkedin Live (Direct Integration)

Cinamaker is now a partner of Linkedin Live. If you are an approved Linkedin Live* streamer, you may simply live stream directly from Cinamaker to Linkedin in the same way you can live stream to YouTube and Facebook.

Why it Matters

With Cinamaker to Linkedin Live, you will be able to broadcast companywide updates & product launches, press conferences & interviews, webinars, workshops, product demos boost your sales through promotional live content, limited offers, and more.

Plus, you’ll be able to go live to attendees of LinkedIn Events!

*NOTE: LinkedIn Live allows only approved members to broadcast live video content to a LinkedIn profile, LinkedIn Page, or Event.* To learn more and to get started with LinkedIn Live, click here

Audio Input Support (Mac and iPad)

In addition to capturing audio through devices running Cinamaker Capture, you may also use your Mac or iPad running Cinamaker Director to directly plug in an additional microphone or USB audio source.

Why it Matters

Oftentimes users dont have the need, ability, or additional resources to have iOS devices running Cinamaker Capture. With audio input available on the Mac or iPad running Director, you now have an additional input source.

NOTE: Depending on the model Mac or iPad, be sure you have the appropriate adapter(s) to convert your microphones or USB audio sources,

Apple FaceTime HD Camera (Mac only)

We are also announcing for the first time with Cinamaker Director Studio (macOS Big Sur) you can use your built-in Apple FaceTime HD camera as one of your 8 available camera sources. And for macOS Catalina users, you can access the Apple FaceTime camera with CinIO.

Why it Matters

Sometimes you want the simplicity of using one camera with Cinamaker. To access the built-in Apple FaceTime HD Camera (macOS Big Sur), simply open the Camera Browser…

and switch the FaceTime HD Camera to the On position.

Cinamaker Selected to “The Streaming Media Producer 25”

Humbled by the companies Cinamaker shares the page with as well as the kudos in our summary and in our partner Panasonic USA‘s profile.

Thank you Streaming Media Producer!

CINAMAKER

iOS-based, live-switched streaming is looking more and more like the beast that swallowed mobile live production, thanks to companies like Cinamaker developing innovative and feature-rich tools that boast the same sort of benefits as more traditional tools in smaller, more cost-effective configurations. Let’s hope this industry recognizes a paradigm shift when it sees one, because it might be happening right now.

PANASONIC

The presence of a technology giant like Panasonic on a list like this isn’t so much about acknowledging everything it does as it is about identifying specific things it does for streaming media producers. With its switchers, its popular PTZ cams, its forays into NDI, and its branded iOS multicam integration with Cinamaker (also on this list), as Anthony Burokas says, “They seem to be trying to integrate their gear further into the streaming world than the others.”

Cinamaker 2.5 Nominated for Product of the Year -Come See us at NAB

Version 2.5 brings a redesigned interface and multitude of new features, including live-editing capability during and/or immediately after recording

To be nominated for Product of the Year by NAB, the top broadcast industry association is quite an honor.

We’re deeply grateful for the recognition where today at the 2019 NAB Show we will be rolling out Cinamaker v2.5 with revised UX and interface enhancements as well as exciting new features to our live video production platform.

Join us at NAB in our booth # SU10510 in the South Upper Hall

With Cinamaker 2.5 comes the rollout of “Live-Edit”, where users can now connect, preview, switch, control media, record, and live stream up to 4 iPhones, digital cameras, and external sources in Perfect Sync™ during recording and during playback, as well.

“We’ve made live multi-camera video production fast, easy, fun, and affordable”, says Benjamin Nowak, founder, and CEO of Atlanta-based Cinamaker. “With our Perfect Sync™ synchronization engine, cameras, audio, media assets, and real-time edit decisions are captured in both wireless and wired settings. As soon as a live stream or recording is finished, users can switch cameras and/or refine edits while in playback, making for the fastest HD video production available,” says Nowak.

Cinamaker Live-Edit: Preview, switch, control media and audio – in real-time and in playback

Also included in Cinamaker 2.5 is a fresh User Interface ensuring a simpler, more intuitive User Experience for new and experienced creators alike. New features in 2.5 include on-the-fly camera transitions, animated gif support, embedding audio clips, applying borders and cropping and adding transitions to media overlays and picture-in-picture windows as well as advanced project management and iCloud archive capabilities.

As a proud partner of Apple and Adobe, we have integrated Cinamaker’s production workflow with Final Cut Pro X and Adobe Premiere Pro. Using Handoff and Panel integration, Cinamaker passes all XML files, video and audio assets, graphics files, and edit decisions, in PerfectSync™ simplifying editing refinement, audio and color correction within seconds of being imported, and saving countless hours of post-production.

And the price is right, too. Cinamaker Director 2.5 for the iPad can be downloaded from App Store and is free to use with up to two iPhone/iPad cameras. Cinamaker Director 2.5 is also available for up to four iPhone/iPad or digital cameras at a monthly cost of $19.99 or $199 per year.

To be recognized as one of the most significant and promising new Streaming B2C products and technologies being exhibited at the NAB Show is quite an honor. And we think with Cinamaker 2.5, new and existing creators will reap the benefits of fast, easy, fun, and affordable live video production and live streaming for unlimited uses.
